Settings > Preferences holds settings for you alone. Your teammates set their own. Changes save as you make them.

Notifications

The bell at the top of the dashboard tells you when something happens on an application. Choose which ones reach you.

Notify me about

Option	What reaches you
Every applicant	Updates on applicants assigned to you, and on applicants nobody is assigned to. If the job has a hiring team, unassigned applicants reach only the team. This is the default.
Assigned to me	Updates on applicants assigned to you only.

An update on an applicant assigned to a teammate goes to that teammate, whichever you pick. Feedback you owe reaches you either way, since it’s about an interview you were on.

Turn off a kind of update

Switch	Updates
Interviews	An interview is booked, moved, rescheduled, or canceled.
Offers	An offer is accepted or declined.
Feedback	Feedback is due when an interview you were on ends, and overdue a day later. See Interview feedback.

These always reach you and can’t be turned off:

Assigned to you, when a teammate or an automation makes you the owner of an application.
Mentioned you, when a teammate mentions you in a note.
Email didn’t send, when an email you sent from Hotfix fails.

Turning a switch off stops new notifications. The ones already in your bell stay.

Scheduling

Schedule interview starts from these. You can still change any of them for one interview.

Meeting	Google Meet, Zoom, or Phone. Zoom shows only while Zoom is connected under Integrations; without it, a Zoom default starts as Google Meet.	Google Meet

If a change doesn’t fit, like hours shorter than the length, it isn’t saved and you see why. See Schedule interviews.

Signature

Your signature goes under every hiring email you send from your Google account, including templates and offers. Leave it empty to send none. See Templates.
