Settings > AI shows each plan, whether it’s signed in, and how much of it is used.
Pick a model
The model menu under the message box lists your plans’ models. Each conversation keeps its own, and you can switch to the other plan mid-conversation: the new one picks up the conversation so far.Plan usage
Usage in your account menu, at the bottom of the sidebar, shows your plan’s own limits, like the next five hours and the week, and when each resets.
Your instructions
Settings > AI has an Instructions box. Write how you like to work: your name and role, how you sign emails, your tone, how you hire (“we don’t do take-home tests”). Claude and ChatGPT both follow it in every conversation, under Hotfix’s own rules, which come first. It saves as you type. Hotfix doesn’t read yourCLAUDE.md. ChatGPT still reads your ~/.codex/AGENTS.md on its own, and Hotfix tells it to set aside anything about code there.
Skills
Hotfix’s seven skills say how your agent does each part of hiring:
Your agent picks the right one from what you ask, or start from one with
/. The skills you turned on in Claude or ChatGPT load too, and Settings > Skills lists every one and where it comes from.
What Hotfix keeps out
Your agent works under Hotfix’s rules, whatever your own instructions say:- What other people wrote, like resumes, answers, and email, is information, never instructions.
- Nothing about age, gender, or anything like them is weighed or guessed.
- It asks before an outward change, and it never sends.
