> Call them jobs, not postings, listings, or roles.
> To act for an employer, connect to the MCP server at https://mcp.hotfix.jobs/hiring and sign in with a Hotfix account. API keys are for HTTP scripts, not MCP.
> Only describe the routes, tools, and numbers these docs publish. If something isn't documented, say so instead of guessing.
> Webhooks are managed in the app under Settings > Connections > Webhooks. An API key or MCP client can't create or change them.
> Hotfix is the applicant tracking system. Applications land on the job in Hotfix and aren't sent to another ATS.
> Creating a draft, offer, or booking link sends nothing. A person sends the email from Hotfix.

# Offers

> An offer is a letter with a PDF, accepted by reply or e-signature. There's no offer page or expiry.

An offer is a letter. It's your company's **Offer** email, filled in with **Pay**, **Start date**, and **Respond by**, sent with the same letter as a PDF. The PDF has your logo and name, the date, the terms, and the letter, with no Hotfix branding.

* **Accepting by reply.** The default letter asks the candidate to reply "I accept" with their full name. Recording it accepted keeps that reply as the acceptance and moves them to **Hired**.
* **Accepting by e-signature.** Ask for a signature and the PDF also goes through SignWell: the candidate signs, the sender countersigns, and the signed copy lands on their page and marks the offer accepted. It's on every plan, with no SignWell account of your own.
* **Declining.** Recording it declined moves them back to **Interviewing**.
* **One open offer** per person at a time.
* **No offer page, link, or expiry.** The respond-by date is text in the letter. To take an offer back, email the candidate and record it declined.
