# Team and roles

> Invite teammates, what Owners, Admins, Members, and Interviewers can do, changing roles, and removing someone.

Everyone who hires with you can have a seat. Plans aren't priced per seat.

## Roles

| Role | What they can do |
| - | - |
| **Interviewer** | See only the interviews they're on and the people on them, and write their own notes. Web only. See [For interviewers](https://docs.hotfix.jobs/ways/interviewers.md). |
| **Member** | All of the hiring: jobs, people, reviews, interviews, offers, and email, in Hotfix for Mac, in Claude or ChatGPT, or on the web. |
| **Admin** | Everything a Member can. Invite and remove teammates, change the company's settings and emails, connect a calendar or Zoom, and manage API keys and webhooks. |
| **Owner** | Everything an Admin can. Change anyone's role, and manage billing. |

A company can have more than one Owner, and always keeps at least one.

## Invite someone

Under **Settings** > **Team**, enter their email, pick **Member** or **Interviewer**, and click **Invite**. Or ask your agent, which says who gets an invite and as what, and sends it on your yes.

They get an email to join. An Owner can make them an Admin or Owner after they join. To cancel an invite not yet accepted, use **⋯** on its row.

## Change a role

Only an Owner can change roles, from the role on someone's row. You can't change your own. Making someone an Interviewer unassigns the people they had.

## Remove someone

Owners and Admins can remove a teammate, and only an Owner can remove an Owner. Before anything changes, Hotfix says what removing them does: the people assigned to them go unassigned, and the interviews they host need someone new. What they wrote stays, and their connected apps and API keys for your company stop working.
